About MES Medical College
The Muslim Educational Society’s commitment towards excellence in the establishment of educational institutions motivated them to take up the challenge of setting up a Medical College in Malappuram District. MES Medical College, founded in 2004, has embarked on a remarkable journey of delivering quality education and healthcare services. Though our journey began with an annual intake of 100 students, we have since expanded our reach and offerings. Our institution is complemented by a 600-bed hospital that provides a comprehensive range of medical and surgical specialties, including major super specialties. From the very outset of establishing our Teaching Hospital, we have remained committed to extending free medical care, diagnostic tests, medications, surgeries, and related services to those in need.
In 2011, MES Medical College attained the status of a Post Graduate Medical Institute, offering Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Courses in all disciplines. Within the same campus, MES has also introduced Dental and Nursing Colleges, providing Post Graduate Courses.
On average, we attend to approximately five lakh patients from diverse backgrounds every year, demonstrating our unwavering dedication to serving the community.
From the very beginning, MES Medicos have consistently achieved outstanding results in the MBBS examinations, showcasing the exceptional quality of academic guidance offered by our esteemed and accomplished faculty members. Notably, MES Medicos secured the first ranks in the First and Final MBBS Examinations in 2009 and 2011, outperforming students from both Government and Private Medical Colleges under the University of Calicut.
